José Santos, is a professional photographer certified by the Portuguese Association of Image and a Professionals Photographers. He loves capturing moments that immortalize life stories and possesses extensive experience in the field. He has created 18 photographic exhibitions; one of these premiered in Toronto, Canada, and concluded its run in Asia. His portfolio includes hundreds of photo shoots for weddings and christenings, as well as school photography. A recognized and award-winning photographer, he holds various qualifications. He took his first black-and-white photography course—covering developing techniques—in 1980. With the transition from analog to digital, he undertook training to adapt to digital photography and editing software (Photoshop and Lightroom), as well as workshops on commercial photography, lighting mastery, and food industry advertising. He trained in newborn photography with José Cruz—a photographer and international judge in the genre—completing both basic and advanced courses. He also specializes in "Boudoir & Glamour" photography, a style that highlights the essence and sensitivity of women through carefully crafted, unique images that boost self-esteem. His work also encompasses marriage proposals and outdoor family sessions, among others. Intimately familiar with the region, he is available to travel to any of the nine islands of the Azores.
