I am a Portuguese photographer specialized in telling real stories through timeless imagery. My work is rooted in the balance between an editorial aesthetic and the spontaneity of genuine moments, creating photographs that feel both refined and authentic. Over the years, I have photographed people during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives, which has given me a strong sensitivity to anticipate emotion, light, and composition. This experience allows me to offer visitors to Portugal more than just a photoshoot — but a lived memory, captured in a natural and sophisticated way. I work with travelers who want to document their journey in a unique and personal way, far from forced poses, focusing instead on the connection between people and place. Whether walking through historic streets, by the ocean, or in an iconic setting, my goal is to create images that bring you back to the feeling of that exact moment. I believe the best photographs are not only seen — they are felt.
This was the second year we did a Christmas photoshoot with David. Last year, we did an indoor session in a specially decorated space, with family photos next to the Christmas tree (there were four of us, and we felt completely free to arrange ourselves in different ways). This year we did an outdoor session to take advantage of the Christmas decorations in our village (there were three of us, but the focus was undoubtedly on my 4-year-old daughter). We loved it! David (and Joana too) make you feel comfortable and do a spectacular job of delivering the best memories. They have enormous patience and availability to guarantee the best service. I have no doubt that I will continue to trust their work and I recommend everyone to experience it.
