Hello, I’m Joana, and I’ve been a photographer for the past 8 years. I was born and raised in Lisbon, where I still live today. Ever since I was a child, I’ve understood the importance of preserving memories… and what better way to do that than through photography? I truly enjoy photographing people, and I feel privileged to know that, years from now, my work may be what brings people back to the moments they once lived. I like photo sessions that are natural, lighthearted, and fun—ones that aren’t stiff or full of posed shots. For me, beauty lies in what’s spontaneous and genuine. Desde criança que valorizo a importância de guardar as memórias... e que melhor forma há do que a fotografia? Divirto-me muito a fotografar pessoas e é um privilégio ser através de mim que, daqui a uns anos, se irão lembrar dos momentos que viveram. Gosto de sessões fotográficas naturais, leves, divertidas, que não sejam rígidas nem com poses. A beleza, para mim, está no que é espontâneo e verdadeiro.
