I'm Patricia, a couples photographer since 2016 based in Lisbon, also working in London. I studied set design in university which has highly impacted the way I photograph today. I don't direct photoshoots the way most photographers do. In fact, your pretty photos will only be a natural consequence of an immersive, romantic and deeply intentional experience. Through connection exercises and gentle prompts I help couples slow down, tune into each other, and actually be present together. What gets captured after that looks completely different from standard posed portraits because it is. My aesthetic is dark, intimate, cinematic, and highly influenced by Caravaggio's use of light and shadow. I'm drawn to the unguarded moments: the laugh that wasn't planned, the quiet glance between two people who know each other well. I'm specialist at making introverts and shy humans feel the most confident and relaxed in front of the camera.
